The Position: Store Manager (Westchester-NY)

As a member of our retail team, you’ll serve as an ambassador of The North Face brand and help us keep our commitment to delivering the best customer experience at our retail stores.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall daily operation to maximize sales and profits by taking ownership and responsibility for all aspects of store operations, while playing an active role on the sales floor. Some of your primary duties include:

• Engaging in selling specifics related to general lines of merchandise.
• Daily monitoring of scheduled payroll sales goals and inventory accounting.
• Handling new hires, training, disciplinary action and performance evaluations.
• Ensuring that product merchandising standards are maintained.
• Handling customer service, inventory levels and community-oriented promotions.
• Ensuring daily log and communications binder is updated and reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensuring that the store is maintained in a secure and clean manner.

We're looking for an individual with a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of related experience. Ideal candidate is highly motivated and organized with excellent interpersonal and management skills; detail oriented yet constantly thinking of the big picture.
