The Opportunity
Velodome Shelters has an opening for an inside sales representative in the growing alternative transportation industry. The Inside Sales representative will receive inbound phone and web inquiries for our bicycle parking products, provide product information, prepare quotes, track the sales process in our CRM program and follow through to the end of the end of the sales cycle. You will collaborate with manufacturing, design and shipping departments and provide support for our mass transit and other outdoor shelter products.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Respond promptly to internet inquiries and inbound calls from prospects and existing customers
• Provide product information, quotations and enter sales orders into CRM
• Follow-up and track sales leads, maintain a database of prospect information, activities and opportunities
• Review bid packages and prepare detailed bid documents and quotations
• Liaison and collaborate with sales, design, manufacturing, shipping departments and suppliers
• Provide superior customer service and outside sales support to distributors
Requirements
• Minimum 3 years of inside or outside sales, customer service, marketing or project management experience
• Four-year college degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Experience with CRM for sales pipeline management
• Proactive, positive attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent organization and time management skills
