“At Jack the Bike Man we pride ourselves on providing a professional level of service. To ensure that this level is maintained and exceeded we request that

applicants meet the some/all of the following job requirements. 

A minimum of two years in a professional bicycle shop setting. 
Certification from an industry recognized bicycle mechanics training institute (UBI, Barnetts) 
Be proficient in the use of internet web browsers and comfortable with the Google suite of products, able to utilize web accessed bicycle service forms from various device types (PC, tablet, or mobile), and comfortable with the Lightspeed Bicycle Work Order Service feature of Lightspeed POS. 
Good interpersonal communication skills that manifest themselves when engaging in face to face, phone call, or email conversations. Professionalism is most important.

Candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and willing to instruct existing staff in their use of the Spanish language will be given top priority and consideration.

About Jack the Bike Man, Inc.

Jack the Bike Man, Inc. is a 501c3 charity with a full service bike shop as our main fund reiser.  We are basically a childrens bicycle charity.  Over 6,000 bikes are donated to us each year and with our 10 membr staff and dozens of volunteers we restore the bikes.  The best ones are saved to sell and all of the others are used for one or more of our special programs.We started doiing our work 20 years ago and have been al egal charity for 12 years.  We have a 15,000 square foot building full of bicycles.
