Job Summary
Deuter USA is looking for a part-time Warehouse Clerk who will be able to receive product on our shipping docks, move product to the appropriate shelves in our warehouse, assist with a variety of warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, and loading and unloading trucks. The Clerk reads and follows work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped while documenting and verifying counts of picked items.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Stocking and storing all materials and supplies of the warehouse.
- Ensuring the appropriate management and handling of all product.
- Coordinating all work functions with team associates and other departments of the organization in a positive manner.
- Conducts regular counting cycles and verification of stocked goods with the appropriate inventory lists.
- Perform all assigned tasks by the supervisor efficiently and timely.
- Ensuring that the quality of supplies and goods are compliant with the company standards.
- Maintaining all safety regulations while carrying out work functions.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Picking and staging order in a timely manner.
- Perform other tasks as required.
- Willing to work additional hours as needed to ensure the success of the warehouse
Skills and Expectations
- Ability to conduct all assigned work and tasks competently.
- Listening skills, oral comprehension skills, writing abilities, mathematical skills, and reading skills are a must.
- Be a team player and have the capacity to synchronize with associates.
- Be familiar with all the safety rules of warehouses.
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more as necessary for fulfill stocking responsibilities.
- Strive for efficiency in executing responsibilities.
- Execute positive and effective teamwork between the front office and warehouse.
- Regularly communicate issues, progress and problems to management together with thoughtful possible solutions.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
