The CAD Drafter will contribute to the success of new product (post design) and production goals through all phases of the drafting needs with prototyping through production including continuous improvement changes on existing products and processes. Main responsibilities include working with Research & Development and Production to develop and maintain prints and projects, managing drawing files and carrying out data entry/reports as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree or CAD cerficiations perferred. Advanced skills and ability in Solidworks (modeling to production prints) - this also includes advanced features: linked dimensions, equations, standard mates, feature scope, fill patterns, suppression states, configurations and external references. Excellent 2D (AutoCAD) skills. Ability to concurrently handle mutliple projects with deadlines. Excellent communication skills - ability to collaborate with various levels of personnel both internally and externally. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - to include Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to work independently. Ability to work in a fast pacd envirnoment. Self-motivated/driven attitude a must. Takes ownership and holds self accountable for projects. Extremely detail oriented. Excellent follow through. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on frequent basis, and ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
