Job Description & Requirements

Reporting to the CEO and Founder, the Senior Operations Manager will develop and implement strategy for overall business success. Responsible for managing the company’s operational interactions. 

 

Experience/Education Requirements:

• B.A. or B.S degree in Business, or related field of study

• 6-8 years of progressive operations management, preferably in the outdoor, fashion or related industry

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating a team

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work with all levels of management 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversees Topo Designs Warehouse/Logistics; Legal; Admin/IT; Financial/Retail; and International departments

• Provides hands-on management of the company’s day-to-day operations with the ultimate goal of effectively serving internal needs

• Develops, implements and monitors operational policies and procedures

• Develops and executes strategic and tactical operations plans

• Oversees internal workflows and organizational development; ensures communication and information flow throughout the organization is efficiently managed to provide all employees and managers with current, pertinent, job-related information

• Manages all operating budgets in close coordination with senior staff

• Ensures that all company operations comply with federal, state, local, and/or company policies and regulations

• Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; actively works to promote and recognize performance

• Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management
