Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking a Sales Support and Retail Operations Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for providing detailed company and item information to retail facing sales teams as well as assist on military and institutional sales projects. Other daily primary activities include overseeing product shipments meet customer specifications and overseeing the processing of orders insuring for accuracy of both warehouse staff work and other front of house processing staff.  

 

Responsibilities:
•      Manage front of house and back of house staff orders, shipments and scheduling of retail orders
•      Manage and show high level awareness of international supply chain, stock levels and assist in forecasting
•      Manage  unique client requirements SOPs for packaging, labeling and shipment notifications for each client 
•      Assist the sales rep team with new client set ups, inventory, product information, images and marketing materials
•      Onboarding new retail clients: New Vendor/ Item agreements, Item set up sheets, Vendor portal set ups, EDI set ups, Learning how that retailer operates and what their requirements are. Anything else the specific client needs. 
•      Overseeing customer service team and assist handling escalated customer inquiries and complaints
•      Overseeing order entry staff to ensure 100% continuity of orders
•      Provide information about the products and services to sales team
•      Document and update customer records based on interactions
•      Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services
•      Monitoring incoming EDI orders, and manually entering retail orders

•      Report directly and performs any related job duties assigned by the COO  or CEO

Qualifications:
•      Minimum 4 Years Previous experience required in  Retail.
•      Retailing defined as vendor operations / sales to retailers and or buying/ operations side at a retailer working with vendors.
•      4 Year Bachelors in business or equivalent required
•      Customer service, sales, experience required
•      Reporting skills and experience required
•      Ability to build rapport with clients
•      Ability to prioritize and multitask
•      Positive and professional demeanor
•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•      Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or international imports is a plus
