Promotions & Marketing Coordinator
Marker Dalbello Völkl USA is seeking an outgoing, energetic and creative Promotions & Marketing Coordinator to help the MDV team promote our three leading equipment brands in both business-to-business and business to consumer settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for skiing in all its forms and will report to the Director of Promotions. This is a full-time role based at the MDV USA office in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Occasional travel will be required. A list of responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
In-house Promotional Support
• Coordinating needs of MDV Regional Promotional Assistants (RPAs)
• Book orders for RPAs and their on-hill promotional staff
• Planning & organizing MDV promotional events
• Representing MDV at industry trade events including on-snow demos
• Maintain and develop relationships with MDV and potential athletes
• Athlete support: organize product needs of MDV sponsored athletes including booking orders for athlete product
Meeting Planning
• Planning & organizing MDV events including bi-annual sales meetings, retailer events, trade shows
Accessories and Promotional Products
• Assist in the design, development and sourcing of the MDV accessory collection
• Development and distribution of promotional items
• Order & inventory management of promotional product
Media
• Assist in the development and implementation of the social media strategy for MDV USA
• Implement social media initiatives including posting and campaign development
• Increase exposure of MDV content
• Respond to inbound consumer requests in certain instances, whether from social channels, web sites, phone calls
Content
• Act as ‘content guru’ to create and accumulate content usable for all 3 brands
• Coordinate photo shoots
• Go to person for photo product requests from media
• Catalog and organize product and action photography (shotfarm.com)
Sales Support
• Assist in developing sell-in tools and collateral
• Help to manage effective shop employee incentive programs
• Help sales force with content and information requests from retailers
• Trade Shows
o Booth organization through SIA/Outdoor Retailer
o Manage SIA/Outdoor Retailer room blocks for staff
o SIA/Outdoor Retailer show paperwork (booth logistics)
o SIA Booth Setup assistance
o Source giveaway items for SIA and On-Snow shows
Important Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong background in alpine skiing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Team player with great attitude
- Creative and eager to brainstorm ideas
- Ability to take direction and be a self starter when necessary
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
