The main function of this position is to manage all sales aspects related to the sell-in and sell thru of the HH Sport business within the Sport Chek, Atmosphere and Mark’s (assigned accounts) retail banners. This position will lead in the development and execution of the assigned accounts seasonal sales plans in accordance with local and global sales strategies and business objectives.
Detailed responsibilities and qualification requirements are:
RESPONSIBILITY/AUTHORITY:
= Assortment and Merchandise planning
- Develop seasonal category assortment and merchandise plan proposals that reflect financial and growth objectives
- Regional and SnS assortment planning
- Facilitate seasonal SMU’s as required
= Forecasting
- Utilize Go To Market planning calendar to establish and maintain seasonal forecasts within the HH forecasting and customer simulation tool (Anaplan) framework
= PO management
- Ensure that all PO’s are received via EDI correctly and accurately and in accordance with Booking deadlines, price lists and terms and conditions
- Seasonal delivery review and communication. Work with Sourcing and Logistics teams to mitigate critical delivery issues.
= Sell thru analysis
- Weekly/monthly sell thru analysis and reporting.
- Remediation activity plan
= Marketing planning and execution
- Ensure alignment between Buying and HH marketing teams
- Communicate ‘campaign’ styles to both supply planning and Customer Service
= Customer Management
- Foster customer relationships internally and externally
- Facilitate cross functional communication and alignment (ie Logistics, Marketing, Purchasing, Customer Service, etc.)
= Financial
- Input into seasonal product line pricing to achieve assigned accounts sales and GM objectives
- Monthly shipping targets for assigned accounts

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
= Minimum of five years of Key Account sales management experience with three to five years of supervisory experience.
= Strong understanding of Canadian Outdoor/Sport market and competitors
= Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
= Must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, knowledge and use of the products.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers. Intermediate level ability with Word, Excel and other required software programs.
