Wheels Manufacturing is a bike passionate organization that exists to design and manufacture the best tools, bike components, and bike compatibility solutions for cyclists. As the Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing the Wheels Manufacturing. brand through the creation and implementation of innovative marketing content for email, website, social media, e-commerce, and web marketing. You will thrive working in a fast-paced fun environment where you will manage and maintain the Wheels Manufacturing e-commerce platform and be tasked with enhancing the customer experience. As a member of our small bike-passionate team, you will also play a direct role in helping to develop brand digital marketing strategies for the organization.
Assists with the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies.
Creates & implements marketing content: web marketing, email, website, social media & direct to customer accounts.
Conducts market research and analysis in the bike industry
Develops advertising and marketing materials such as banner ads, social media posts, web pages, sponsored content, videos, or print material
Develops website content and makes small changes and updates to website
Creates webpages for new products and responsible for maintaining and managing existing product webpages.
Works with Product Management to develop product instructions, or product training content.
Works with Product Management to effectively launch and market new products
Manages relationships with contractors and hold contractors accountable for deliverables.
Organizes product expositions, exhibits at tradeshows, and conventions
Takes high quality product photos, uploads them to the appropriate product webpage
Manages product photo and digital asset library
3+ years of professional experience as an e-commerce and/or marketing professional
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience in working in a CRM tool required. Experience with Vtiger CRM a plus.
Experience with Magento (or similar content management platforms) required
Experience with QuickBooks a plus.
Experience with THUB and Authorize.net, or similar platforms required
Experience in the outdoor gear industry strongly preferred. Experience within the bike industry is a plus.
Strong written/oral communications, research, and proofreading capabilities
Polished, professional, and confident communicator and presenter
Organized and proficient at managing overlapping projects in a fast-paced environment in a detail-oriented manner
Autonomous & independent worker
Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media
Limited domestic or international travel may be required
