Your Position

As part of our Purchasing/Sourcing team, you are primarily responsible for working with existing factories and sourcing new factories in Asian countries to manage overall capacity and quality by performing the following duties.

Your core duties and responsibilities include the following:

 

Responsible for sourcing new factories and initiating trial and onboarding processes.

Performs regular physical production inspections to ensure quality consistently meets standards.

Handles production defects with vendor and internal Kinco team.

Communicates with factories on a frequent basis regarding issues/concerns/special requests/questions.

Helps to expedite production with the factories and relays updated schedules to the Kinco logistics team.

Fosters Kinco’s relationship with each factory to build trust and rapport.

Ensures factory understands and implements all new or revised product requests and oversees early production.

Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% of the time (India, China, potentially other countries as needed).

Kinco headquarters is in Portland, Oregon and preferred candidates will work in office.
