Controller

The Simms organization is growing and we’re looking to fill the position of Controller. This is a full-time, in-house position based in Bozeman, Montana.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate financial records and serve as a consultant for managers within the organization, advising them of current budget information and helping them evaluate the financial impact of business decisions.

Outcomes of this role include:

 

Ø Accurate and Complete Financial Records

Ø Engaged and Product Accounting/Finance Team

Ø Finance Processes are reviewed and updated to lead to more scalable business

Ø Appropriate Internal Controls are designed and maintained to protect assets

Ø Successful Financial statement and compliance audits

 

Successful candidates should possess:

Ø Minimum 5+ years of Accounting Management with proven success

Ø 5+ years previous Controller level or equivalent business experience

Ø CPA

Ø Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Master’s degree preferred)

Ø GAAP Proficient

Ø Experience with Foreign Currency/Consolidation preferred

Ø Strong understanding of/experience with ERP systems

Ø Strong communication skills

Ø Problem-solving skills

Ø Team building skills

Ø Process-driven attitude
