Position: IT Manager

General Summary:
The IT Manager will report to the CFO and will work as a member of Yeti’s operations team. The IT Manager is responsible for the oversight of technology operations as well as, assisting with strategic technology planning, preparation of the IT budget, systems security and formulation of IT related policies, procedures and practices. We’re looking for someone who has strong analytical skills, is detail oriented and has experience working with a wide array of IT technologies. The ideal candidate will be a passionate mountain biker with a strong competitive drive and a proven ability to operate in a high growth company.
Essential Job Functions:
- Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies in order to meet business requirements and contribute to long-range planning for IT systems evolution
- Purchase, install and maintain all IT infrastructure related hardware and software including the network infrastructure, desktops, printers, server, surveillance, telephony systems and cloud hosted solutions
- Provide strategic leadership for complex enterprise projects including implementation, enhancements and support of the technical infrastructure
- Serve as knowledge expert on technical services for end user inquiries
- Partner with vendors/developers to deliver new solutions and modifications to existing systems
- Respond to end user support requests
- Perform miscellaneous IT related tasks
Job Qualifications, Competencies and Key Attributes:
- College Degree in Information Technology or related field
- Telephony systems management (VoIP)
- Server administration: Windows and Linux
- Network engineering: UniFi
- Client systems management: PC, Mac, iOS, Android
- Web development technologies/platforms: NodeJS, Git/Hub, Heroku
- Familiarity with cloud hosted services such as Azure, Office365, Exchange Online
- Familiar with CRM, E-Commerce, ERP Platforms (SYSPRO) and database technologies
Work Environment:
Yeti Cycles is a ride-driven company. Everything we do revolves around making the best bikes in the world. The work environment is relaxed but high functioning. Dogs wander the building, bikes clutter the hallways and we always have good coffee in the morning and hoppy beers in the evening. We’re located near five major trailheads and shut it down from 11:30am-1pm every day to ride.
