We provide development and manufacturing of licensed and private label merchandise for some of the most iconic brands and retailers in the world. In 2019, ERE acquired our first in-house brand, Legendary Whitetails. This hunting apparel brand is not new, it’s built on a strong foundation almost as old ERE, and we plan to continue the legacy. We create everyday apparel for hunters, because they can’t always be in the woods. We allow our customers to take everything they know and love about the sport with them all the time, whenever and wherever they are… to make a statement, start a conversation, share a story, and celebrate the hunt! With the acquisition of this brand and several other new accounts, we are recruiting additional talent. Community Marketing Manager

The Community Marketing Manager will represent the company, brand, and customer segment across all social media and sales channels. You will work with a variety of teams to develop a deep understanding of our customer and a content strategy to deliver targeted and effective guest communications. As the liaison between our internal product and marketing teams and our customers, you will interpret how our product attributes meet customer needs. You will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities and product testing to provide valuable feedback. You will work with influencers, attend special events, and talk directly with our customers. You will direct all social media and affiliate programs. You will personally create regular original editorial content for our blog, Facebook, Instagram, twitter, and email campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Social Media: build and manage all social media platforms; voice of brand on social
  • Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach target customers
  • Content Creation: create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content
  • Content Calendar: plan and ideate content assets to engage online community
  • Community Engagement: monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing followers and customers as well as from brand new audiences
  • Affiliate/Influencer Program: manage influencer outreach and engagement
  • Brand Partnerships: identify like-minded brands for cross promotions, events, etc.
  • Email Marketing: create content for newsletter/email sends, track, optimize
  • Events: work with our team to identify and maximize relevant events
  • Provide Insights: work alongside other marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in the outdoor market with active passion hunting and fishing
  • A genuine love for building community, marketing and digital
  • Excited to be part of a small, dynamic team
  • Well-organized self-starter who can take the reins and own this part of the business
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions
  • 2-4 years relevant work experience: i.e. managing community outreach, creating content, building brand advocacy
  • Experience managing social media channels, using social media management tools, Facebook Business Platform, Google Analytics, running social media campaigns such as giveaways, cross-promotions, etc.
  • Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation, inbound marketing, and blogging
