Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for professional, hard-working individual to manage an active, fun ski and snowboard shop. This store manager position is responsible for assisting the owner in managing the retail sales and rental staff, as well as the operational and merchandising functions of the store to achieve maximum profitability and to continue to provide the best-in-class guest service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

=         Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends

=         Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards

=         Generate sales

=         Demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service

=         Assist owner in hiring, training, coaching, leading, and maintaining a high-quality staff

=         Function as a training resources for employees in product knowledge, and sales

=         Assist owner in communicating company values and goals to the employees

=         Assist owner in administering company procedures, including cash handling, safety and loss prevention

=         Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals

=         Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards

=         Other duties as assigned

=         Required to work weekends and holidays

QUALIFICATIONS:

=         Experience in the ski and snowboard industry

=         Experience in ski and snowboard rental industry is preferred

=         Experience using shop machines and previous binding certification helpful

=         Renting and maintaining ski and snowboard equipment and customer service

=         Product knowledge helpful

=         Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task

=         High school diploma or equivalent

=         Minimum of one year of retail experience

=         Minimum of two years of supervisory experience

=         Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

=         English fluency, written and verbal

=         Excellent communications skills both written and verbal

=         Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
