About this Role: as iKamper’s in-house accountant, you will be responsible for all things accounting-related in the US. You will do much more than manage accounts and complete tax return forms: be prepared to respond to tax audits, help make lease-or-buy decisions, compile annual statements, offer financial advice,optimize key business metrics, etc.Throughout all interactions, you will always be positive, respectful, inclusive, and kind.  What You’ll Do:

• Help manage the overall finances of iKamper USA, Inc.

• Be responsible for all accounts payable and receivable

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations

• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of financial statements

• Manage state sales tax registration and payment on a national level

• Prepare tax returns

• Offer financial advice

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives for the Managing Director and team

• Maximize profitability, and constantly strive for improvement

• Offer unique and innovative solutions to each problem

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years experience preparing tax returns and financial statements for companies of similar size and revenue. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with larger clients in order to handle iKamper’s growing needs.

• CPA is preferred

• Working knowledge of GAAP

• Experience working with both B2C retail (online & brick-n-mortar) and B2B sales

• Familiarity with the outdoor industry highly preferred (know the unique tax laws, financial regulations, and business trends)

• Understanding of modified accrual basis and year end accruals

• Savvy with cloud computing

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university

• Passionate, self-motivated, and positive

• Strong communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and relationship management skills

• Preference will be given to candidates within close distance who are able to work in the office long-term
