General: This role is a Marketing Team role that reports to the Marketing Director. The objective of the Content Manager is to drive overall growth and engagement through digital assets. The Content Manager will also be dynamic in their ability to support the needs of the Marketing Team.


  • Capturing, editing, scheduling & posting videos and imagery 

Video production

  • Filming

  • Editing (Proficiency in Adobe programs required)

  • Uploading & Scheduling

Social Engagement

  • Managing social media accounts (likes, comments, shares, questions, DM’s, etc.)

  • Email campaigns (drafting templates, newsletters, automated campaigns, etc)

  • Events calendar (river cleanups, tent sales, demo days, tying events, clinics, etc.)

  • Blog (writing, editing, scheduling, posting & approval of guest articles)

Shared Assets

  • Maintaining relationships with and drawing content from AvidAngler Ambassadors and Manufacturers 

Product Images

  • Assigning images to SKU’s and their variations (includes downloading assets from dealer sites, cropping, resizing, color correcting, and naming raw photo files)

  • In-house photography of products when needed

Tying Tuesday

  • All tasks related to the production, editing, posting, and display of Fly Tying Tuesday video tutorials on social channels and website


  • Use of Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom to develop banners, graphics, and promotional imagery

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communication, Photography or Film is preferred

  • Working knowledge and experience in the following Programs:

    • Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere

    • WordPress

    • YouTube

    • Instagram

    • FaceBook

    • Pinterest

  • Excellent grammar and communication skills

  • Good sense of art & design

  • Photography, videography, and media production experience

  • Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that supports brand identity

  • Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative and original copy that includes effective keyword placement

  • High level of computer literacy

  • Experience with social media engagement strategies and best practices

  • Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objectives
