BioLite believes in a bright and safe future for all, and that includes life at work. BioLite is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace where we strive to enable everyone to show up as their full selves. An inclusive environment and culture makes our solutions better and our entire team smarter. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.

Who We Are Looking For:

We're looking for a versatile marketer to engage and activate BioLite's passionate community through compelling content, a consistent voice, and thoughtful partnerships.

You are well versed in social media strategy, with an emphasis on strategy: you use insights and brand pillars to inform your content development and audience growth, you identify what success looks like before you start executing, you think about distribution just as much as you think about creative, and you are comfortable reporting back important metrics on a routine basis to show if we're heading in the right direction.

But you don't just love numbers – you love people and stories, too! You will sit at an amazing intersection of the business, working with internal teammates, enthusiastic customers, and mission-driven ambassadors to build narratives and snapshots that embody our brand position of Turn Your Energy Into Power. You are comfortable designing briefs, crafting raw inputs into thoughtful stories, and deepening relationships through collaboration and communication.

Who You'll Work With:

You will sit on the Marketing Team which means you'll work with the VP of Marketing and two visual designers on a daily basis. We work very closely with the E-Commerce Team to maintain a strong digital presence (web, email, social) as an essential factor in our performance marketing programs. Your work in organic creative can often find its way into paid programs, email campaigns, and more. Additionally, our Wholesale Team benefits greatly from previews of our communications calendar and will work with you to identify any opportunities to share advance content with retail partners to support their own channels in promoting the BioLite brand and gear. Lastly, as we want to routinize more communications around our mission, you'll have regular interactions with our Emerging Markets Team based in Nairobi to identify stories of impact, teamwork, and more.

You Will:

These are the tasks you'll track on a daily basis:

  • Social Marketing Calendar: Working with the VP of Marketing, build a multi-channel schedule that encompasses both seasonal campaigns (product launches, promos) and daily posts that, in aggregate, become our strongest brand ambassador and reflect back a vibrant community.
  • Social Distribution Planning: In addition to what we should be creating, identify where it should be living (channel nurturing) and the resources needed to achieve reach and engagement targets (eg boost budgets).
  • Audience Engagement & Growth Dashboarding: Increase engagement metrics across our active channels through community conversation and strategic acquisition, bringing high-quality followers into our world. Weekly snapshots of what's performing, who's engaging, and quarterly takeaways on how to inform future efforts.
  • Content Executive Production: No, not your direct job to be out in the mountain snapping photos (although we won't stop you!), but you will manage creative partners – a mix of ambassadors, agencies, and our own design team – to get the visual support to go alongside your copywriting.
  • Ambassador & Organization Management: Work with our amazing network of individuals and community organizations that promote access, inclusion, and sustainability in the outdoors and nurture authentic relationships that benefit everyone involved. This also includes managing inbound requests from new potential partners and establishing a routinized approach to considering new partnerships.
  • Brand Collaboration Lite™: Giveaways, limited-time promotions, maybe even the occasional branded event. Opportunities to expand our audience and visibility, but done sparingly and strategically.

You Have / You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, brand management, or partnership management
  • Highly proficient in core social media channels. You know what makes the algorithm tick, and you develop content to maximize reach, relevance, and engagement.
  • Able to slice-and-dice core content projects into platform-relevant styles (eg Main Video on YouTube Blog, cut to Reel for Instagram, GIF for PPC, etc)
  • Experience using a central social management platform (eg hootsuite, sprout social, etc)
  • Great copywriting and storytelling skills: you know how to pair our goals with what would actually make someone want to stick around and read/watch/listen.
  • proactively pitch ideas and ask questions when things are unclear
  • Experience managing production partners and budgets to achieve high-quality creative
  • Able to identify, organize, and analyze KPIs for your domain and connect them to department goals
  • Awareness of personal work style and can communicate needs and time estimates to teammates: we want to make sure bandwidth and deadlines are rooted in reality.
  • Previous experience telling stories in outdoor, tech, science, or impact areas a big plus, but not required (and if you have experience from a totally different industry that you think translates, we'd love to see it!)

Bonus Skills:

No need for experience here but if you do have these skill sets they'll be put to good use.

  • Photography
  • Video & Video Editing
  • Adobe Creative Suite

To Apply:

Your application should include:

  • A PDF of your resume
  • A PDF of your cover letter with 2-3 links to examples of campaigns or pieces you created/managed and are really proud of
  • Links to portfolios welcome, but not required

  • PTO and family leave
  • Free One Medical membership.
