Job Description & Requirements

Position Summary

Responsible for selling local and regional Corporate Sponsorships and Expo revenue for the portfolio of Life Time Event properties including, but not limited to the following endurance events: Leadville Race Series, Unbound Gravel, Big Sugar, The ‘Rad Dirt Fest, Miami Marathon, Chicago Half Marathon, New York City Triathlon, and Chicago Triathlon.  Responsible for achieving the company objectives of sales, growth and profitability while enhancing athlete and participant experiences through Corporate Partnerships. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Individual Contributor Selling Local/Regional Event Sponsorships and Expo Space
  • Maintain Client Records and Log Sales Activity into Company CRM
  • Establishes and maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential clients

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in media/agency sales, customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated work style with the capacity to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with experience identifying and resolving problems

​ Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in endurance events, sports, or entertainment industry
  • Proven consultative sales experience
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Strong presentation and writing skills
  • Experience using PowerPoint
  • 2-3 years of related experience and/or training, and a general understanding of the Triathlon, Cycling and Run Industry.
  • Willingness to travel, work weekends and extended hours as needed

Pay

Starting salary for this position starts at $50,000 and pays up to $85,000 based on experience and qualifications.
