Erem’s mission is to enable people to experience the beauty, vastness, and extremes of the desert while positively impacting people, place, and planet. Erem’s first product is a hiking boot that sets a new standard in both desert performance and environmentally sustainable outdoor gear. 

Our team works remotely but we are a very close-knit group; we have huge ambitions and take every chance we can to spend time outdoors. We are now looking to add an extraordinary brand marketing  talent to our team as we prepare to launch. Brand Marketing Manager

The Brand Marketing Manager will work directly with Erem’s VP of Marketing and CEO. Your two primary functions in this role will be:

  1. To develop, execute, and distribute engaging and inspiring brand + product stories

    1. Help set content strategy across digital channels, including advertising, email, site, social, blog, and more

    2. Develop, maintain, and operate brand editorial calendar to support 365-day business

    3. Provide creative direction and lead execution of day-to-day and hero content creation including blog posts, website enhancements, campaign photo shoots and brand videos

    4. Manage distribution of content through all key marketing channels

  2. To build and execute brand and product GTM activation plans, which will include owned digital channels, partnerships, consumer promotions, experiential events, and more

    1. Manage product GTM activations across conversion touchpoints

    2. Manage and operate paid influencer and ambassador marketing efforts from brief to daily management

    3. Engage with official non-profit partners as Erem’s point-person; you will work with partner to create content, throw events, and more

    4. Manage brand collaboration program including briefing, partner recruitment, resourcing, and daily management 

    5. Manage and operate Erem’s “Pro” program (offering gear to outdoor industry professionals, and B2B outfits)


As an experienced marketing generalist on a small team, you will also be asked to lead various other 1-off projects and to roll up your sleeves and pitch-in on just about everything, including the Erem Marketplace (marketplace of 3rd party vendors on our site), email, loyalty programs, PR, events, and more.

The right person for this role is an experienced, self-motivated, ambitious, fast-moving marketer that:

  1. Is able to lead programming from briefing to execution with minimal oversight while balancing multiple competing priorities 

  2. Is a people person that enjoys building coalitions with brand partners and interacting with customers

  3. Has direct-to-consumer (DTC) experience

  4. Has startup experience, thrives in an environment with little structure, and is extremely fast paced

  5. Is happy working in a remote environment
