Position: Marketing & eCommerce Manager

Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA


Basics: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the activities of Yuba Bicycles marketing campaigns, ecommerce platforms, as well as helping to maintain the brand value and needs on an on-going basis.


Duties: Yuba Bicycles is seeking a highly motivated and creative thinker with strong website, digital marketing, ecommerce, creative writing and event management skills. This person is responsible for evaluating, creating and implementing marketing plans in conjunction with the executive team, as well as content creation, social media management, email campaign creation and implementation, moderating virtual customer engagement and assisting with USA product launches. The Marketing Manager will also manage our Graphics Designer.


Responsibilities:

Website:

Content creation and management including text and image updates

Blog management and content creation


Digital marketing:

List building and management

Create and manage B2B and B2C email campaigns, auto responders




Create and maintain social media marketing plan and editorial calendar for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest

Moderate and engage with user-generated content, messages and comments w/ fans and customers and respond to queries

Report on reviews and feedback from customers and fans

Report weekly insights across all platforms to track effectiveness

Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and contests

Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness

Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products

Brand management

Assist with product launches USA

Events

Assist with event planning, marketing and follow-up 

Attend events as needed

Influencers

Handle day-to-day execution and management of Influencer programs, Expert & Aficionado program

Partnerships

In coordination with Sales & Marketing Director, manage and establish partnerships

Sales and marketing promotions

Assist the Sales & Marketing Director in coordinating sales promotions

Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers including contests and promotions


eCommerce

Responsibility for driving D2C e-commerce sales on our website, to include day-to-day management of eCommerce site operations (content/promotions/products) and management of product listings on partner websites. The candidate will possess a strong understanding of B2C eCommerce sales and operations and must be able to think strategically.


Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
  • Multitasking and analytical skills

  • Team player - organized, driven and self-motivated individual 

  • Excellent writing skills; Collaborate with partners and departments to create, write and develop engaging text, image, and video content

  • Imagination and resourcefulness

  • EXCELLENT working knowledge of Facebook, IG and other social media platforms

  • Proficient in WordPress, Google Drive

  • Experience with Active Campaign & Illustrator preferred

  • Experience with Asana or other project management platforms desired

  • Passion for bicycles and specifically bikes for transportation

  • Previous experience working in marketing in the Outdoor industry (preferred)

  • Avid cyclist, bike commuter, weekend warrior required; passionate about environmental issues
