Job Description & Requirements

Private club community in a quiet Berkshire MA town has a full-time, live-in position for an Outside Manager.  Successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance of club grounds and recreational facilities, for executing projects identified by club forestry, field and conservation plans, for supervising preserve and hunting activities, and for maintaining a secure club environment.  Candidate will be required to foster strong relationships and engage regularly with club members, contractors and town service providers.

 Our community promotes outdoor, athletic, social, and natural resource conservation activities.  The property is nestled on the shores of a mountain lake surrounded by 5000+ club owned and leased acres of serene wilderness.  Location offers proximity to Berkshire cultural centers as well as the greater Hartford/Springfield area.

 Qualified candidate must have experience with forest, outdoor and agricultural management, be a self-starter and be proficient with small farm tractor and other agricultural maintenance equipment.

 Compensation package includes competitive salary, excellent benefits, paid vacation, use of the Club truck and other equipment, and a farmhouse residence with barn and workshop.
