Description:

          Our General Manager Ensures that our staff can deliver the highest level of hospitality in a sustainable manner. Through organizing, training, setting an example, and thoroughly communicating, the GM brings our values to life – We serve people, we usually do it by bike.

Responsibilities:

·        Implement plans and resources from leadership team

·        Communicate needs of your team to the leadership team

·        Set example of world class hospitality and train team to deliver on the same level

·        Maintain healthy communication between the Service and Sales teams via Tech Manager and Assistant Manager

·        Track training progress of team through online platforms

·        Ensure the shop is relevantly engaging with the community through clinics, events, and outreach

·        Organize a weekly meeting with staff in addition to daily informal huddles

·        Communicate with Operations, Purchasing, and HR teams

Qualifications: 

• At least 3 years of experience working in a high performing bike shop
• Familiarity with the nuances of various full suspension designs and high-end road bikes
• Humility to always be learning
• Joy in serving people from a wide array of backgrounds
• Compassionate and honest communicator
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
• Team player – thrives in supporting other’s success
• Solution oriented problem solver
• Ability to work weekends
• Bicycle fit experience is a plus

 

Compensation:

• Total potential comp ranges from $55,000 to $70,000

• 0.10$/mile ridden on any bike
