Job Description & Requirements

Pro Ski and Mountain Service is looking for an energetic, engaged mountain enthusiast working in the outdoor industry who wants to help grow an iconic Northwest backcountry ski, snowboard, and mountain shop. This is the position to take your outdoor industry experience to the next level, surrounded by a team of highly knowledgeable and motivated skiers, snowboarders, and climbers.

This is a fast paced, customer service-oriented position in a growing family-owned business. We are looking for an individual that can balance custom boot fitting excellence, sales goals, inventory mgt, service QC, web admin, staff training and deliver over the top customer service each time, every time. You will work closely with the store owner and store manager to develop and execute the overall direction of the shop.

We maintain unique relationships within the industry. We are the only Dynafit Competence Center in the PNW and the only store in the greater Seattle area listed as a Recommended Shop in Blister Review. Our reputation is strong, and we work to improve with every season.

Duties of AM Position:

• Customer Service/ Sales
• Physical and Point of Sale Inventory Maintenance
• Assist Seasonal purchasing coordinated with the Store Manager
• Day to Day operations as directed by the Store Manager
• Website maintenance/ order fulfillment coordinated with E-commerce manager
• Execute promotions/advertising/marketing coordinated with the Store Manager
• Continuing self-education and training new staff
• A passion for the outdoors
• Must be available weekends
• Full Time/ Year-round position

Required Experience:

• Custom Boot Fitting
• Customer experience excellence
• Backcountry ski/split board and climbing
• Microsoft Excel
• Point of Sale Systems

We are an authentic mountain shop located in the heart of the Cascade Mountain range in North Bend, WA. The cornerstone of our business is our expert knowledge and customer service in the categories of Ski Touring, Split Boarding, Alpine Skiing, Snowboarding, Ski Mountaineering, Alpine Climbing and Rock Climbing, Trail Running and Backpacking.  Experience in these disciplines is a requirement for this position.  Prior industry retail experience is also a requirement for this position.

$46k-48k depending on experience, plus benefits (2 weeks of paid vacation, pro deals, free ski pass, contribution to health care,free participation in trips and courses at www.proguiding.com.)
