Job Description & Requirements
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) position is responsible for driving, leading, and supporting our sales actions and objectives. The primary objective and task of the ISR will be communicating over phone, email and via our ERP to drive sales and support to the dealer channel. The ISR may also be responsible for growing a target list of accounts in line with overall company financial goals. This position will collaborate with Yuba’s team of Independent Sales Representatives, and the Director of Sales and Marketing to come up with and implement sales initiatives for the specific regions. This position will provide tactical support for dealers and outside territory reps in your assigned region. The ISR will also provide support to direct-to-consumer customers as needed to help facilitate a positive brand experience.
Place orders from retailers via incoming phone/email in a timely manner.
Supports and works towards sales growth working with North American dealers, independent sales representatives and the Director of Sales & Marketing.
Handle leads within regions: lead generation, lead retention, working with independent sales reps, etc. Upsell, resell, lead delivery, lead retention.
Work towards rapid response times to increase customer satisfaction.
Prepare and share reports of activities within the region.
Ensure that territory accounts in the ERP database are accurate and up to date on a monthly basis.
Build strong business partnerships with retailers and our independent sales representatives.
Has a keen understanding of both current and future business goals and is able to make a decision that is right for the customer and for the business.
Participate in developing and achieving departmental and corporate goals, objectives, and systems.
Travel to industry events, dealer events, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Enthusiasm for cycling, outdoor sports, sustainable transportation.
Proactive, self-motivated, problem solver.
Proficient in Google Workplace (Gmail, Chat, Meet, Calendar; Drive for storage; Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, and stellar Customer Service skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Has experience in phone sales (preferably in the bicycle industry).
- Works well in a team environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
Compensation & Benefits:
$55-70k per year, plus bonus of up to 10% of annual salary.
