New England and Upstate New York, Shimano Technical Representative

We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our Northeast Specialty Sports team as a full-time tech representative for Shimano, Lazer, PRO Components, and MOTOREX. This individual must have an extensive Bicycle Tech background and be able to train IBD Service Technicians as well as present at Educational Seminars / Clinics. As a Technical representative you will be tasked with the education of Shimano related products, SOPs and event/athlete support. You will be responsible for managing upkeep of different things including a vehicle, fleet of bikes, educational assets, and event materials. You will also be responsible for reporting/feedback to different departments including sales and product teams. You must be based in one of the 6 New England states or Updstate New York.

Requirements:

• 80% of time spent traveling in company vehicle
• Good driving record
• Self starter, clear/concise communicator
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Multitasking/prioritizing short term and long term projects is a must
• Able to manage a schedule independently
• 100% Shimano s-tec modules completed
• Must be a proficient bicycle mechanic with 5 years of service experience

Proficient with MS Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook.
