Ski Tech Wanted at Pine Needle Mountaineering!
Join the team at Pine Needle Mountaineering, where we're passionate about helping people experience the outdoors! For over 45 years, we've built a reputation for exceptional customer service and expert knowledge. We're seeking a full or part-time Ski Tech to contribute to the success of our busy, growing repair shop.
- Provide outstanding customer service related to shop services and rentals.
- Perform expert ski tunes, waxes, mounts, adjustments, and repairs.
- Ensure accurate completion of all shop paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
- Share your knowledge to help customers choose the right gear.
- Maintain the rental fleet.
- Participate in training clinics.
- Support other shop operations as needed.
- 1-3 years of experience in a ski shop.
- Expertise in tuning, repairing, and mounting skis, especially backcountry and Nordic.
- Solid familiarity with ski and snow sports equipment, especially backcountry gear.
- Attention to detail and precision in technical work.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional communication skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for outdoor activities.
