Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time, Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales at Pine Mountain Sports bike shop. You will assist customers with their shopping needs, manage transactions, and ensure that the store is well-stocked and organized. Candidates should have bike retail sales experience, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be passionate about helping others.

Key to Position:

- Flexible schedule, availability on weekends is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support throughout their shopping experience.
• Sell products effectively by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate items.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise on shelves, restocking items as needed, and conducting inventory checks.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an inviting atmosphere for customers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a outdoor retail (bike) setting is a must have. Bonus points for bike or ski experience.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with our diverse clientele.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
