We are dedicated to offering fair, communicative and open-minded leadership on the job, as well as comfortable housing. This is an incredible opportunity for anyone interested in working, living, and exploring in the region for up to a season at a time.


Requirements
We ask work-stays to work at the hostel for a minimum of 15 hours, maximum of 20 hours a week in exchange for housing, for a minimum of one month. 

The work consists of basic housekeeping and guest services, sometimes independently and other times collaboratively with team members. Tasks may include making beds, laundry, cleaning, etc. We also really like to lean in to people's unique interests and skill sets, so hours can also consist of skill share clinics with guests and the community, events at the hostel, or contributing to art in the hostel. 

We require team members to be excellent communicators, have strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and prioritize under clear expectations, and have strong intra and interpersonal skills. 

Accommodation & Extra Hours
Housing includes a bed in our staff room, which is a 6 bed coed bunkroom, and has a private bathroom and storage space. Housing also includes access to all hostel amenities including our kitchen, common spaces, back yard, gear storage, commuter bikes, free laundry and parking, and free dinner on Sundays.  

Extra available hours depends on seasonality, any skills brought to the table outside of hostel duties, and our current needs at the hostel. Any hours worked after the minimum start at $15/hr.

This is an application to work at a small business, not a large corporation. We personally review every application, carefully select team members, and devote a large portion of time to hosting an excellent and personable work stay experience. Welcome to CoHo: Conway Hostel!

We are a rural adventure hostel located at the southern edge of New Hampshire's White Mountain National Forest. Our mission as a hostel is to increase accessiblity to our natural spaces and outdoor recreation. 

Looking to spend some time hiking, paddling, fly fishing, mountain biking, climbing, you name it..? Consider our workstay program! We have a couple different positions here from housekeeping, to social media ambassador, grounds, and shuttle drivers. We ask for around 15 hours of work in exchange for lodging here at the hostel. 

Extra hours are optional and paid. There are also several guiding companies, outdoor retailers, and places to work in town should you opt for more work.
