Job Description
KÜHL is looking to expand their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associates degree in Accounting/Finance/Business and strong technical skills including advanced Microsoft Office skills. This position will help with all cash receipts data entry, credit and collection functions; enforce credit policy, support dealers with accounts receivable processing, answering customer phone calls and emails, and other various related special projects.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- work with dealer services to maintain up-to-date billing system
- work with dealer services to generate and send out invoices
- follow up on, collect and allocate payments
- carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- perform account reconciliations
- monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- research and resolve payment discrepancies
- post cash receipts entries for website sales
- reconcile website sales returns and refunds
- assist in maintaining accounts receivable customer files and records
- follow established procedures for processing cash receipts
- process credit card payments
- investigate and resolve customer queries
- process adjustments
- communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally
Education and Experience
- knowledge of accounts receivable
- knowledge of office administration and procedures
- knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
- knowledge of general accounting principals
- proficient in relevant computer software
- knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
