Company Description
Santa Cruz Outdoor Science School promotes care for self, others and the natural world. The science school will seek learning opportunities that include, but not be limited to, stewardship of one's surroundings, critical thinking skills, interpersonal communication and team building, as well as multidisciplinary and multi-modal approaches to environmental literacy. Our site is situated at the very southern end of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Mountain biking and hiking (for staff) are close to the site at the Soquel Demonstration Forest and Nisene Marks State Park. The vibrant community of Santa Cruz, and the beach, are 20-30 minutes away from the site.
