Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager
QuietKat is a growing company that is seeking to hire a Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager who will work directly under the current Warehouse Manager. This position involves monitoring and participating in daily operations and logistics at the QuietKat warehouse. To be successful as a Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using NetSuite, Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and management skills. Previous warehouse management experience is preferred along with a strong mechanical understanding and knowledge of bicycles and components.
Warehouse Operations duties include:
- Management of warehouse staff and daily operations
- Printing picking tickets and fulfilling orders via NetSuite
- Inventory and backorder management via NetSuite and physical counts
- Receiving of inventory
- Shipping and logistics (national and international)
- Ordering of shipping and warehouse supplies
- Management of bike repairs and customer service repairs
- Answering internal shipping and logistics inquiries
- Overseeing quality of work done by warehouse staff
- Overseeing production of 3-wheel bikes built in house ? Coordinating tradeshow shipments and booth supplies with sales staff
- Attending weekly logistics and sales meeting for a status report
Warehouse Operations Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study is preferred.
- Three years of experience in related field. Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Competency in computer applications including NetSuite, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Good file management, organization and other administrative skills.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of electric bicycles
