SPORT DIVISON MARKETING MANAGER
Holladay, Utah
SCOTT Sports is seeking a qualified individual for the full-time
position of Marketing Manager for our Sport Division to be
located in our Holladay, UT office. SCOTT Sports was established in 1958 and
has grown into an international action-sport brand. Core sports divisions for
the brand include: Bike, Wintersport, Motosport, Running and Outdoor.
Internationally based in Fribourg, Switzerland, the North American headquarters
is in Holladay, Utah.
As Sport Marketing Manager, you
will lead the brands Marketing and PR initiatives across traditional, digital, and event channels for SCOTT’s Wintersport, Running, and Outdoor Divisions. This position is responsible for managing a team of marketing professionals to develop, implement, and track all marketing operations. Our ideal
candidate will bring a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and an unstoppable work ethic. You’ll also get your hands dirty and coordinate with fun and energetic team members to market the SCOTT Brand.
This position reports to the Division Manager.
Core Abilities
Team building and management.
Maintain a strong knowledge of product lines.

Planning meetings and marketing plans by
identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts;
developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.

Motivate and assist sales reps and
employees in the development of territory plans to maximize revenue.
=
Maintaining and controlling expenses and
budget guidelines.
=
Scheduling and executing various
marketing communications initiatives such as B2C marketing, product workbooks,
newsletters, press releases and other writing assignments as required.

Coordinating with management to create
and implement new marketing endeavors to drive product sell and sell through.
=
Planning and organizing of regional and national tradeshow’s, sports marketing events and competitions.

Manage all media contacts and execute
all PR initiatives.

Develop and implement advertising
campaigns.
=
Manage brand partnerships and
activations.
=
Content creation for the US marketplace.
=
Managing brands athlete roster and their
activation.
Tracking marketing campaigns and online
activities and compiling and presenting reports.
Education and Experience
=
Minimum 3 years
experience in the Sporting Industry
=
Minimum 3
years management experience
=
A Strong
passion for the action/outdoor sports industry
=
Undergraduate degree in marketing,
business or communications and/or equivalent work experience preferred
=
Strong
communication, leadership and organizational skills
=
Strong digital skills, with proficiency
in modern workflows
=
Advanced Experience with Excel, MS
Suites, and Photoshop
=
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and
Adobe Creative Suite

Strong understanding of social platforms
