Accounts Payable Manager

Scope of Position

Candidate is responsible for the assistance in the accounts payable and procurement cycles for Nidecker North America (United States and Canada). The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for assisting in the vendor billing and inbound/procurement process  for external and related party vendors from start to finish.

Daily Activities and Responsibilities


Job  Responsibilities

·         Compile bills from vendors for coding (physical + virtual) on a weekly basis

·         Reconcile accounts with vendors at period end for accuracy / completeness

·         Enter new vendors with complete billing and payment remittance information

·         Scan all physical bills to the server for coding

·         File Bills (physical and virtual) as they are processed in folder directories

·         Double check account codes/ amounts allocated (by region & brand, correct terms & dating etc)

·         Communicate with vendors as needed

·         Bill for FedEx shipping

·         Run AP reporting for Open Bills & preparing Bills to Pay for Controller on a weekly basis

·         Enter adjusting journal entries for cross subsidiary activity on an as-needed basis

·         Assist Logistics Manager in 3-way matching from related-party suppliers as inbound inventory arrives

·         Adjust for any variances with accuracy between packing slips and POs prior to billing

·         Provide a point of contact for both suppliers and third party logistics operators

·         Reconcile variances between related party suppliers

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (especially Netsuite) a plus
  • Accounting & Procurement Experience a plus
