We are looking for a NAV Developer II to join our team. In this role, you will develop, maintain, and troubleshoot the Simms NAV environment, NAV add-ons, and EDI connections. As a NAV Dev II, you will work with business users to explore, prioritize, and execute requests and projects.
This position reports to the IT Director and is based out of our Bozeman, MT location.
As a NAV Developer II, you will have an opportunity to:
Own the NAV environment and uses their expertise to help decide what projects and work need to be prioritized.
Responsible for serving as the primary point of day-to-day contact for NAV-related partners.
Produce reliable and stable Nav environment for company.
Collaborates with business stakeholders to define requirements and translate those requirements into solutions by bringing technical expertise and broader understanding of Nav to those conversations.
Generates own enhancement ideas to keep Nav operating smoothly.
Primary resource for Nav-related helpdesk tickets.
Develops, tests, and releases robust and stable fixes and enhancements.
Primary resource for Nav add-ons, including EDI.
Maintains documentation and cross-trains IT Apps team on new developments and functionality.
You have:
2 years of experience with NAV administration – understanding users, role center, permissions, architecture, and workflows
2 years of experience with C/AL development – proficiency in application development, Nav codebase structure, unique C/AL concepts, and C/AL performance tuning.
2 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server – querying tables, developing SQL objects, replication, SQL Agent
1 year of experience with SSRS – developing and modifying reports
1 year of experience with EDI – understanding of purchase order documents and workflow (850, 855, 856, 810, 846)
