Kenai Riverside Resort is hiring several river fishing guides for the 2024 season. We are a full-service lodge providing a wide range of activities for our guests. We are willing to train the right person. Preference will be given to those with a USCG captains license (OUPV / 6 pack or inland waters).
We are located in Soldotna, Alaska in one of the most prolific fisheries anywhere. The mighty Kenai River is renowned for it's fishing. It is also a very swift moving, glacier melt, river. It takes skill to navigate and fish it successfully.
Summer on the Kenai River is one of the top fishing destinations in the world. Many will describe it as the superbowl of fishing. We have 4 distinct species of salmon that enter our rivers starting in May with each species coming up the river at different times.
We fish from both drift boats and power boats depending upon the time of year and the section of river we are fishing.
If you enjoy fishing, have a great work ethic, outstanding safety record, and people skills this may be a phenomenal job for you.

• Previous guiding experience is preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 50lbs minimum as well as perform strenuous activities
• Drift Boat or raft rowing experience, boat motor experience also preferred
