For over forty years we have created premium products and experiences for anglers who expect the best. We work hard, play hard, and are looking to hire the role of Inventory Control Coordinator.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inventory Control Coordinator will ensure the accuracy of all aspects of inventory within the factory. In this role you will perform a variety of functions including receiving and putting away of raw materials, administering and executing inventory cycle counts, inventory re-organization and relocation projects, investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies, BOM/Routing creation, and supporting data management.

This position is based out of our main headquarters on Bainbridge Island, WA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Physically locating and counting materials
  • Administering and executing an internal cycle count program
  • Receiving and stocking inventory received from outside vendors
  • Validating received materials against physical documentation and ERP data
  • Transferring inventory within the factory
  • Performing inventory variance investigations using D365 and working with other departments or team members to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Setup, administer and maintain properly working Kanban systems
  • Review and order consumables based on Kanban order signals
  • Monitoring and reporting on WIP (work in process) inventory
  • Perform production prioritization and manufacturing support activities
  • Creating new product BOMs (Bill of Materials) and routings
  • Updating existing BOMs and routings when required
  • Assigning and maintaining ERP master data pertaining to inventory
  • Auditing and reconciling material transactions within D365
  • Processing Inventory adjustment and scrap transactions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Regular standing and walking though out the day to accomplish tasks 
  • Occasional sitting
  • Manual dexterity used frequently with repetitive finger motion
  • Occasional stretching, reaching, pushing, pulling, crouching, or stooping.
  • Regular lifting up to 10 pounds, frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Hearing and speaking required regularly
  • Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, ability to identify colors and the ability to adjust focus

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years in a prior Inventory Control, Material Handler, or Expeditor role or transferrable work experience
  • Intermediate math skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Comfortability with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (D365 preferred)
  • Previous experience with implementing and executing Kanban and barcode inventory systems
  • Able to communicate effectively and maintain relations with internal customers
  • Demonstrate sound judgment when following through with priorities
  • Able to handle interruptions and maintain focus
  • Must be a good problem-solver
  • Team oriented individual; willing to work cross functionally in various areas of the warehouse
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Able and willing to work flexible/additional hours when necessary (<10%)

COMPENSATION

The salary range for the Inventory Control Coordinator position is $21.00 to $ 26.40 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
