Job Description & Requirements

Director of Marketing 

 

Responsibilities:

The Director of Marketing is responsible for managing the company's brands and marketing efforts. Develops plans that that support lines of service and brand objectives and devises campaigns that increase the awareness and stature of the company.  Ensure branding consistency across all communications internally and externally.  Maintains inventory of marketing collateral.

Job Requirements:

·        Manages, develops, and implements marketing activities to maximize sales.

·        Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, in the marketplace and develops strategies to grow brand efficacy based on research and analysis.

·        Ensure brand consistency

·        Lead tradeshow graphic presentation and Booth presence, working with the Product Management team

·        Develop and implement various communications via internet, printed copies, banners etc.

·        Work closely with the Product team on timing of product launch communications

·        Drives social media efforts to drive sales and brand awareness

·        Manages influencer program to strategically drive brand and sales efforts working with both Sales and Product Management teams.

·        Develop product launch collateral

·        Develop sales tools and collateral

·        Create presentations, communications plans, corporate communications materials, media releases and provide event assistance.

Key Competencies:

·        Strong positive attitude

·        Experience driving both e-com and brick and mortar marketing efforts, while excelling at brand stewardship.

·        Proven experience as a Brand Manager

·        Experience in web design and content production is a plus

·        Solid understanding of project management principles

·        Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset

·        Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills

·        Outstanding organizational and planning abilities

·        Proficient command of English

·        Self-motivated team player

Education:

·        BS/BA in public relations, marketing, communications or relevant field

·        5+ years’ experience with Brand management
