Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and leading the warehouse team. This role involves managing complex customer orders, shipments, and projects while ensuring inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency. A key aspect of the position includes leveraging NetSuite to generate detailed inventory reports, optimize operational processes, and enhance cross-departmental communication. Additionally, the Warehouse Manager is tasked with managing staffing levels, developing and implementing work schedules, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment. The team size ranges from 6 to 12 employees during peak season.
Job Responsibilities
NetSuite Utilization

Leverage NetSuite for inventory management, reporting, and workflow optimization. Ensure all warehouse activities are accurately tracked in the system.
Leadership

Lead the warehouse team by providing guidance, addressing employee concerns, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of employee engagement.

Provide real-time feedback and support to your team, encouraging professional growth and development.
Hiring & Training
-
Manage the hiring, onboarding and offboarding process. Create training schedules, conduct forklift training, and ensure the team is adequately staffed during peak seasons.
Order Fulfillment

Oversee order flow, ensure accuracy, resolve shipping issues, and hold the team accountable for timely and precise order fulfillment.
Inventory & Receiving

Prioritize and manage incoming shipments, coordinate logistics, and maintain organized and accurate inventory within the warehouse.
Space & Operations
-
Maintain relationships with suppliers, collaborate on backend improvements, and develop strategic plans for inventory management and operational growth.
Facilities Management
-
Enforce safety standards, manage equipment and vehicle maintenance, and ensure the warehouse remains clean, secure, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Customer Service, Ski Techs, and Merchandising teams to ensure seamless operations and communication.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall goals of the company.
Physical Demands
-
Ability to lift 75 lbs, handle weight up to 18 lbs overhead, and frequently lift and move 20-30 lb boxes.

Comfortably climb a 12-foot ladder while carrying objects weighing 5-20 lbs.
-
Ability to work on feet for most of the day.
Expectations
The Warehouse Manager must be available during peak seasons, holidays, weekends, and high-volume periods, setting a strong example for the team. The role requires close collaboration with other departments to ensure efficient operations and a safe working environment.
Required / About You:

3-4 years of warehousing or e-commerce retail experience in a leadership role.

Strong proficiency in NetSuite for managing inventory and warehouse operations.

Creative scheduling abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines.

Experience with heavy machinery operations such as forklifts, snowblowers, and power tools.
