Carlsbad e-bikes & more is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, creative, ego divested individual who likes working with people as much as wrenches and wires.  We are a small tight-knit team, so you need to bring a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and common sense.  Applicants should feel comfortable shifting gears between the following roles: electric bicycle technician, bike builder, tech support and rentals. This is a full-time position

 

Qualifications

•         Experience as a bicycle mechanic

•         Service experience within the bicycle industry

•         Basic knowledge of electricity, motors, and ebikes

•         Writing and communication skills

•         Excellent people skills, both in person and on the phone

•         Ability to self-manage daily schedule and ensure all assigned tasks are completed

 

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

•         Build and assemble new e-bike and perform Quality Check inspections

•         Service & Repair Electric Bicycles and existing rental fleet

•         Maintain spare parts inventory and bikes

•         Maintain Service Area organization and cleanliness

•         Help maintain and improve Pedego Carlsbad outstanding reputation

•         Learn the industry and understand the products we offer on a technical level – Training provide through manufacture and our onsite team
