Position Overview
CitizenCanvas, an independent distributor operating as CanvasCamp USA and CanvasCamp Canada—the OG of canvas tents, is seeking a versatile and motivated Customer Success and Sales Specialist to join our growing team as a full-time contractor. This remote position, open to candidates based in the United States, offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a high-growth company.

As a key point of contact for our USA and Canada customers, you’ll be responsible for ensuring an exceptional customer experience, driving sales through inbound and outbound efforts, and contributing to content creation to drive traffic.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Success

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, providing timely, professional, and solutions-focused support.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.

  • Resolve customer issues with empathy, ensuring a seamless post-sale experience.


Sales

  • Manage inbound sales inquiries, guiding customers through the decision-making process to match them with the perfect setup and gear.

  • Conduct outbound sales efforts, proactively engaging prospective customers and businesses, including glamping resorts and outdoor event organizers.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to meet and exceed revenue targets.


Content Generation

  • Draft compelling and on-brand email communications to engage customers and collaborators.

  • Create blog content, including articles on outdoor adventures, camping tips, and product features, under the direction of the marketing team.

  • Research and reach out to potential collaborators, influencers, and industry partners to explore partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in customer success with a digital/ecommerce brand (this is a must), with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and support.

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in both a B2C and B2B environment online.

  • Content creation experience, with the ability to write engaging and professional emails, blogs, and other materials.
  • Experience in the outdoor industry is a plus.

  • Bilingual in French or Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, or similar) and familiarity with the lead generation process and tools (e.g., email automation tools) is a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
