Sales Manager – Suttons Bay Bikes

Suttons Bay Bikes is looking for a positive, energetic individual who loves bikes, adventure, and the outdoors to join our team! We're seeking a Sales Manager to oversee our sales floor and assist with sales, tours, and rentals. Our operations shift daily, so if you are adaptable, proactive, and ready to jump in wherever needed this is the job for you! This is a full-time, year-round opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, growing company. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with bicycle and equipment sales

• Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control

• Design merchandise displays and optimize store layout

• Perform light bicycle repairs and adjustments

• Greet and assist tour and rental guests

• Help plan and support events as needed

• Offer route recommendations, including local winery visits

Who You Are:

• A friendly, upbeat team player willing to work weekends

• Experienced—2+ years in a bike shop preferred

• Passionate about cycling and the outdoors, excited to share the area with visitors

• Skilled in turning customer service challenges into positive experiences

• Organized and proactive, with a knack for streamlining operations

• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Tech-savvy—familiar with POS systems, Mac/PC, and Google Docs

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to lift 35 lbs overhead
