Position Summary
BiKeS & BeAnS (BnB) is seeking an experienced and open-minded Service Manager & Bicycle Mechanic to join our dynamic local team. If you’re looking for an opportunity for rapid growth and an opportunity that’s more than just a job? We welcome the opportunity to talk with you further. BnB is seeking a unique individual that excels in a collaborative environment, maintains a positive attitude and strives to develop dynamic working relationships with mentors, customers and premium vendors. In this position you’ll be required to learn how to carry out day to day operations of the rapidly moving shop environment, including but not limited to exercising patience while learning processes and procedures, answering customer calls and technical questions, problem solving, scheduling service orders and assisting owner and seasoned techs on large custom orders.

- You must have the drive to replace owner involvement on these tasks after 90 days
- Salary based on experience = Range $25-$30 hr for mgmt. and $18 - $ 20 Techs
- Newest Hi-End demo operation and testing
Responsibilities
- Train with ownership specifically
- Hands on work with all types of bikes and people
- Customer service calls and in person collaboration
- Patience and perseverance
- Willingness to ask questions and admit mistakes for further guidance
- Running Lightspeed POS and help expand knowledge to others
- Integrity first in all aspects of representing BnB
- Drive to advance into labor and production management!
- Understanding 1st 30 days are strenuous and the building of required knowledge
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Lightspeed: POS system
- Labor management in a shop setting - 2+ years
- Willingness to constantly learn
- independently motivated
- Strong communication Skills
- Ordering and competency with the bike industry distributors and brands.
- Typical in-house distribution channels QBP, BTI, JBI, HLC distro channels.
- Ability to learn products quickly eg: RadPower Bikes, Revel, Aventon
Preferred:
- Shimano Technical training certifications (ability to furnish them)
- SRAM Technical University STU Certifications (ability to furnish them)
- Ability to use Microsoft office
- Navigate spread sheets & inner office workings
- Rides to work!
