Posting Description & Requirements


As a 3rd party Independent Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing your own territory's including all aspects of the sales process for existing and new accounts. Key elements of success include, but are not limited to,

  • Driving and executing sales in your territory.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with partners through consistent communication and interaction with regular in-store visits and events.
  • Completing line showings both in season and pre-book lines; ensure accounts understand the value proposition and brand differentiation.
  • Assist accounts with visual merchandising and inventory management.
  • Manage all pertinent regional trade shows and events within the territory; participate in national shows and events as needed.
  • Prospecting and opening new accounts to support sales growth and align to the Brand.
  • Maintain clear visibility of business performance and provide supervisor regular reporting on both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback from accounts.
  • Attend seasonal sales meetings twice a year.
  • Management and utilization of seasonal samples.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of outdoor brand management in territory (pref 5+ years).
  • Existing key relationships with buyers in your territory.
  • Background in outdoor industry, preferably in soft goods.
  • Required to live in your territory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented, extremely well organized with strong time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with B2B platforms.
  • No management of competing soft goods brands.
