Position Overview – Hilco Vision is seeking experienced independent reps to join our team to generate sales and provide business support for retailers within the territory. You will use your established relationships as well as cold calling to all types of retailers including outdoor, fishing, hardware, marina, gift, surf, resort, and beach stores to grow current accounts and bring on new business.  If accessory/count & fill lines are in your DNA, then this opportunity is made for you.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive sales and market share for Croakies eyewear retainers, Croakies readers, Jonathan Paul Fitovers and other Eye related products.  You will open new retailers and grow existing accounts to achieve revenue goals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales in the outdoor industry and a passion for outdoor eyewear products. 

Responsibilities:

1.      Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. 

2.      Regular visits, calls and emails to existing and potential customers to generate sales and communicate regarding new products, promotions, display types etc.

3.      Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers to drive sales growth and maintain customer loyalty.

4.      Attend regional trade shows within the territory.  We provide the samples at no charge.

5.      Provide regular reports and updates to the Sales Manager on sales, sales activity, customer feedback and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

1.      Proven experience in opening new accounts & growing sales, preferably in the outdoor products industry.

2.      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

3.      In-depth knowledge of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices for the outdoor products industry.

4.      Experience specifically in eyewear and other count and fill accessories is a bonus.
