Company: Tread Labs Created by the Founder of Chaco Sandals, Mark Paigen. Tread Labs is a manufacturer of Sustainable, Million-Mile Guaranteed, versatile insoles and we are creating a sales team. Uber Group’s Steve Carvalho and Michael Lumpkin are providing Sales Leadership - seeking experienced, Independent Sales Representatives (see About Uber Group below). Tread Labs is committed to designing insoles that provide comfort, pain relief, and performance while offering some new features not found in the category. Tread Labs has a successful and growing D2C business and has now begun expanding into wholesale.. Job Description: We pay commission on a scale that increases with sales growth. The independent sales representative for Tread Labs will be responsible for sales activities in the assigned territory. This includes, but is not limited to: sell in, sell through, staff education, merchandising, order collections, account maintenance and primary contact for retail stakeholders. We are looking for someone with existing relationships and the working knowledge of a Retailer’s business that extends beyond “product”. Responsibilities: Frequent key account contact with high emphasis on merchandising and refill Responsible for maintaining sales samples Educate staff on brand vision, technologies and products Actively participate in local industry-related events Identify, coordinate and attend regional and national trade shows as approved Maintain regular contact with all clients in the territory to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction Provide feedback from the field on marketplace and competitive landscape Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values Develop strong professional relationships with retail store owners/buyers and management Develop relationships with brand ambassadors and major influencers within their specific industry Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments within Tread Labs, LLC Requirements: 5+ years in the industry Strong knowledge of footwear and relative, basic biomechanics Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Insured vehicle to support travel, department calls and presentations and sales within sales territory Computer, tablet or smartphone with access to internet and company related programs, b2b, docs, etc Be available for travel within assigned territory Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements Proven ability to set and achieve goals and objectives Mark Paigen has been messing around with footwear since the earth cooled.
